The hospital has been operating for many years with a 4no theatre suite which required constant maintenance.
The proposal is to design a new 4no theatre suite on a cleared site adjoining the existing theatres, along with a new CSSD. Recovery and a Day Ward on a phased basis. On completion, the existing theatres are to be de-commissioned and refurbished and integrated with the new theatres, providing also new administration, storage and the like.
